In issue no. 4 of the magazine "Arbitrazh Practice" of 2016 a new article came out, dedicated to disputable issues regarding transferring a case on jurisdiction and the fate of interim injunctions adopted by courts before the transfer written by litigation attorneys.

"Nalogoved" journal features an article by Tatiana Vladimirova and Aleksandra Ambrasovskaya, "Thin-capitalization rules: Applicability to Loans Between Russian Companies", in its "Lessons From a Legal Case" section.

The Zakon journal's issue for April 2016 publishes an article by Sergey Nikonorov, headlined "Certain Aspects of Economic Concentration in Trade in the Russian Federation".

Vedomosti is publishing the commentary of Jus Aureum's Managing Partner Alexander Kobzev in an annual survey dedicated to the legal profession, the ratings of Chambers Europe 2016 and the activity of law firms.

Novaya Tabachnaya Kompaniya LLC was engaged in a court case with the Federal Tax Service for approximately two years. The Tax Service decided that interest on a loan payable by a Russian company to a Russian lender can be classified as dividends of their joint foreign owner.

The magazine “Yurist Kompanii”, No. 4, 2016, published an article by senior associate Nikita Scherbakov and associate Sergey Kartoshkin entitled “Why it is important to notify a debtor about a change of creditor, and how to do it correctly.”

The Supreme Court has explained why it sided with Novaya Tabachnaya Kompaniya in the lawsuit against the Federal Tax Service (А40-87775/14). The dispute concerned the question of whether it is possible to recognize interest on loans given by a parent company to its affiliate as dividends, if both companies are owned by a foreign company.
