Conflict resolved in connection with refusal of an insurance company to compensate medical costs for treatment of decompression sickness

As a result of the involvement of the Office's lawyers in resolving a disputatious situation, the matter was settled with payment from SK VTB Strakhovaniye (a top 10 insurance company in Russia) of insurance compensation to the Medical Center POSEIDONIA (Larnaka, Republic of Cyprus), which had carried out expensive treatment of an insured person in the compression therapy division.

Based on the Office's handling of the case, the insurance company carried out a second due diligence examination of documents for the occasion with the insured diver, as a result of which it upheld payment of the Medical Center's bill for the full amount.

Work on the project was coordinated by senior attorney Nikita Scherbakov.

The Medical Center POSEIDONIA is a leading center in Cyprus for rendering first aid by treatment with oxygen, including for decompression sicknesses, and also offers a method of total rejuvenation using the oxygen technology ProJuvenox, whose public face is the singer Yulia Nachalova.
