Acting as a legal counselor for Mercury Group of Companies in a sale of shares in a major oil company

Jus Aureum has advised the Mercury group in a transaction to sell a sizable shareholding in a major oil venture listed on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market in favor of a Russian state-owned oil company.

One of the largest pieces of business transacted on the M&A in 2009, the deal was worth around USD 800 million.

It was assisted by a team of lawyers headed by managing partner Alexander Kobzev, backed by partners Sergey Bronetskiy and Maksim Andronov.
